FAQ - units

Question?
SHOOT

Modular units are quick to build and adapt to your needs. Because everything is prefabricated in our factory, the environmental impact is lower and there are less inconveniences on site. We usually only need 1 to 5 days on site.

This depends on the project, the plot and the region.
In general, you need an environmental permit for buildings larger than 30m², but this should be considered on a project-by-project basis.

An architect is required for buildings larger than 40m² or if adjustments to the stability of the building are required.
For units smaller than 40m², we can arrange the environmental permit.
For larger projects, we work with partner architects.

Yes, our units can be disassembled and moved.
Expansion is also possible later.

Yes, you can view our units at our show site in Beerse or at our partner Matterne Outdoor. You can also request a visit to a realized project near you.

Our units last 15-20 years without renovation.
After that time, just like a traditional building, you can renovate them.

We can deliver the units casually or fully furnished, including custom cabinets.
The choice is yours.

We usually use screw piles, which are machine-drilled into the ground for a stable foundation.
Depending on the location and duration of use, we may also use concrete points or precast blocks.
We discuss this together.

In addition to normal maintenance such as cleaning, you should maintain the heat pump/air conditioner and water heater annually. We recommend cleaning the exterior with soap and water every two weeks and treating the wood siding annually.

Yes, you can.
For lightweight structures, you can use self-screwing screws.
For heavier items, we recommend dowels or bolts.
Always seek advice from our technician before starting, to avoid unintended damage.

We can install and connect the utilities for you, or we can give you advice so you can do it yourself.

We always place units with a crane, depending on the situation with a truck crane, telescopic crane or tower crane.
The choice of crane depends on the distance and height of the lifting job, ranging from 26m to 60m.
We always choose the right crane for your project.
